Ackmann of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Marquette University established groundbreaking technology some 15 years ago in the field of Impedance measurements with an eye towards EIT. Sadly, Jim succumbed to colon cancer at an early age, but his brilliant work lives on.

One simple phrase was great and I never heard things put so simply: an MRI is a map of protons in the body and EIT is a map of impedance. Phrasing things succinctly and accurately goes a long way in making a point! Thank you, Engr TV!
