Vision-Guided Industrial Mobile Robots

Industrial Mobile Robotics (IMR) technology employs sophisticated, state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, Bayesian statistics, image processing and machine learning methods to enable vehicles to automate core material handling processes. IMR technology acts as a platform for truly autonomous behavior, allowing material handling vehicles to work in environments that were previously not economically or technically feasible to serve. Seegrid’s core Industrial Mobile Robotics technology relates to the development and exploitation of 3D evidence grids for machine perception. In an evidence grid, many views of a scene are taken (with stereo cameras or other ranging sensors), and the data from each individual snapshot are accumulated into one 3D model of the scene.

Sorry,I'm very busy, and missed a lot of engineering TV.But I like your robot very much as soon I saw it. I think this concept of robot will be good for wheelchairs, for old and disable people. The major problem on motor wheelchair-is to cross the road. Old people don't see very good, and a reaction is not so good any more. You could map for old people their daily routine. This robot is going to be better than dog.

I got the second idea. In military you could map war terrace (zone), from sattelite, or plain. And make robot delivery platform(for example) for 5 or six small robots. To move through war territory you need bigger computer-it going to be located on the base-robot,and so on. It might be made for Mars expedition, or Luna.

I understood, that I can't make all the money in the wolrd, but I have to move in this direction. If you like mike ideas send ,please ,stock market share or shares of your company-simbolical price. I understood, that I can't get in the team of a patent.

    Sincerely Mikhail Simkhovich
