It features a unique optimum speed rotor technology that enables the Hummingbird to adjust the RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) of the rotor blades at different altitudes and cruise speeds.  During flight, an operator can vary the RPM of the A160&amp;#39;s rotors (speed them up or slow them down) at different altitudes to improve overall efficiency and save fuel.  This is quite a departure from conventional rotor systems, which tend to have a fixed rotor RPM regardless of altitude. A fine mist of coolant is sprayed onto the electronic hot spots and immediately evaporates.  The vapor then circulates to a heat exchanger where it is condensed as the heat is rejected to air or a water system.  The cooling fluid is pumped to the SprayModule; in a continuous closed-loop fashion.  This process results in an extremely efficient method of cooling. Paragon is beginning this work on the first major space suit redesign in over 40 years as part of a team led by Oceaneering International.  Paragon has key responsibilities in the design and manufacture of the suit’s life support and thermal control system. The first suits will support the debut flight of the new Orion spaceship that Paragon is also working on, currently planned to launch in 2015. With modifications, the suit will go on to be used exploring the surface of the Moon and Mars. In addition to leading the design of biological payloads, Paragon’s responsibilities on the Odyssey Moon team include robotic lunar lander design support and the lander’s thermal control system.
