The 2010 and 2011 versions of the LH3 and LH4 will showcase a 90 HP Diesel/BioDiesel engine currently rated at 90 MPG in Europe, mated in parallel to a 150 HP Hydraulic motor/pump and accumulator system.  The parallel system will provide 0-60 MPH in less than 6 seconds, and full highway cruising speeds, with an estimated top speed of 110 MPH. Featuring BYD&amp;#39;s Fe battery technology, the range per charge is expected to be 249mi, without compromising on performance: claimed 0-60mph acceleration is less than 8 seconds with a projected top speed of 100mph.  The Fe battery pack in the E6 can be quick-charged to 50 percent of its capacity in 10 minutes, and 100 percent of its capacity in 60 minutes. BYD&amp;#39;s Dual Mode (DM) Electric Vehicles combine a pure-electric mode with a hybrid drive system that incorporates a small gasoline engine.  The Dual Mode (DM) Electric Vehicle system integrates an advanced generator and motor controller, which results in lower fuel consumption and emissions, as well as higher power and performance.  The F6DM uses a lithium iron phosphate battery that can be recharged to 70 percent of capacity in 10 minutes and BYD claims it can provide a range of 62 miles of electric power before the gasoline engine is needed. The vision of Myers Motors is for every garage to have a sub-$20,000 highway speed electric vehicle.  Their current line-up features the Myers Motors NmG (No more Gas) single-passenger electric vehicle (a two-seater is in the works).  They claim the NmG&amp;#39;s rechargeable 156 volt DC motor enables about 1000 miles of driving for only $20 of electricity (at $0.10 / kWh).  Perfect for commutes and small enough to park just about anywhere, it can even reach a 75 mph top speed and is highway legal.
